Hotel on the longest lake in Poland

The hotel PORT110 is located in Iława – a town situated in north-eastern Poland on the National Road no.16 between Olsztyn and Grudziądz. The hotel is located in the most attractive point of the town, directly by the lake Jeziorak.

The annual national and international events are held in the amphitheatre in the summer. International Traditional Jazz Music Festival OLD JAZZ MEETING “Złota Tarka” and the shanty-music festival “Jeziorak Shanty” and the Polish national Regatta are considered to be ones of the most important.

The church of the Lord’s Transfiguration
It is the oldest remaining building in the town built in 1317-1325. 

The town hall
Its building came into being in 1910-1912 next to the main street of the town. Nowadays the town hall belongs to the town office, and there is the Tourist Information in its right wing. Next to the town hall there is a seven-hundred-year stone, placed in the memory of granting Iława its town rights in 1305.

The baroque sculptures
There are unique eighteenth-century baroque sculptures in the town park: Jupiter’s, Juno’s, Hercules’s, Medusa’s. They come from the palace in Kamieniec which was owned by the house of von Finckenstein.

The Jeziorak – one of the seven wonders of Poland

Iława is situated in the Masuria in “the Green Lungs of Poland” which are characterized by the clean air and the beautiful environment. Iława and its neighbourhood are viewed as the most interesting environmental areas in Poland. There are a few nature reserves. There are 31 basins, along with the picturesque Jeziorak. There are 16 islands, and there are the remains of the early-medieval castle-town in the biggest of the islands – The Great Żuława (Wielka Żuława). The lake Jeziorak was considered as one of the new seven wonders of Poland by the readers of the travelling magazine “National Geographic Traveler” in a three-month-competition in 2012.

The Elbląski canal is a very special tourist attraction on the lake Jeziorak. It is known worldwide and it is one of the most beautiful waterway systems in Europe. Our hotel is situated by the cycle lane which runs just by the shore line of the Jeziorak.
